After 15 years in Chandler, RigaTony’s Authentic Italian Restaurant is moving to Tempe.
Toward the end of March, it will open on the northeastern corner of McClintock Drive and Warner Road.
The new place has more space, a bigger kitchen and limitless parking, spokeswoman Alyssa Abraham said.
Other changes are coming as well. The restaurant will open an Italian market offering homemade sauces, salad dressing, desserts, salads and fresh pastas.
“We’ve always sold our salad dressing, but we haven’t sold sauces and fresh pasta,” Abraham said.
“Fresh pasta is a brand-new thing; we didn’t have the space to make it here.”
The new spot will have an outdoor terrace to seat 30 to 40, and the restaurant will sell Italian coffee drinks.
It will have a bigger bar, and will still have Tony’s Room, a private dining room for 12 guests. RigaTony’s is currently at Arizona Avenue and Knox Road.
